List of People from War Memorials

This list was first read out in church during the civic service on Remembrance Sunday, 11th November 2018, by six cadets from the Stonehaven units of Sea, Army and Air Cadets in the presence of the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Kincardineshire, the Bishop of Brechin and the Royal British Legion in a congregation numbering about 500.  During the reading, the 1788 bell was tolled.

It is an amalgamation of all those commemorated on the Black Hill memorial and in the church.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.
