Additional Information –
Personally appointed as Priest-in-Charge at St. John’s, Drumlithie in 1953. As mentioned above, he continued in this post after his formal retirement, until his death in 1983. He is buried at the churchyard there. Made Dean of the Diocese of Brechin in 1971, which he also continued as until 1983.

Oversaw the construction of both the church hall and Abbeyfield House; a retirement home built on land initially leased from the church.
