Additional Information –
His move to Babbacombe in 1881 was necessitated by his wife’s illness. What the illness was is unknown, but we can assume the warmer weather must have improved it as they moved back to the Diocese of Brechin only two years later. Conflicting information indicates he may have written some hymns (none well known) and may have had an association with the Sisters of St. Margaret in Aberdeen.
