Buried in the churchyard at Ford, Northumberland. Closure of the Episcopal School at Stonehaven in 1939 led him to appeal to the Court of Session to use the funds saved to repair the parsonage. A newspaper from 1942 indicates he was a member of the Kincardineshire Education Committee, and one from 1937 has him as a playwright.
