Booklet 14 – Photo of choir
We don’t have many pictures of John or his choir. This was, of course, long before the days of all-pervasive digital cameras.
This photograph was probably taken just before the resignation of Revd John Symon in early 1938.
One interesting note is the extensive ivy creeping ivy up the walls in the backdrop, which is the north wall of the church. Not the best way to preserve the stonework. Long since removed.
