Booklet 15 – Plaque
If you look at the organ console, on the left hand pillar there is the brass plaque that was organised by the Vestry in recognition of John’s long and faithful service. This was agreed shortly after John died, but for some reason, the fund associated with this effort was not closed until 1945.
In 2016, the organ was included in the British Institute of Organ Studies (BIOS) register of Historic Organs.
